Jye Cunneen

Jye Cunneen is a principal solicitor with extensive experience practising law in Albury, Wodonga and Wangaratta since 2011. He is well regarded for his professionalism, personalised approach and integrity, having built a strong reputation within the local community over many years. Jye’s legal work spans a wide range of business and property matters across multiple jurisdictions, including Victoria, New South Wales and Commonwealth law. He regularly advises on the sale and purchase of commercial, residential and farming land, business sales, commercial leasing and finance arrangements such as mortgages and guarantees. Jye also has experience managing business structuring and succession planning, alongside estate and family succession strategies. He acts for clients in the administration of deceased estates and estate litigation, and has involvement in land development projects, including subdivisions and planning agreements. Deeply committed to his local community, Jye has a long-standing connection to the region and supports numerous community and sporting organisations. Outside of his legal practice, he enjoys golf, water-skiing, snow-skiing and spending time with family and friends. Jye holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business, is admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria, and has completed a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. He is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria, the New South Wales Law Society and the North East Law Association. In addition to his professional roles, Jye contributes as a director of Albury Tigers Club Ltd and provides pro bono legal services as a volunteer solicitor with Hume Riverina Community Legal Service.
