Ravind Chandra is the Principal at Mint Legal, a self-employed role he has excelled in both in New Zealand and Australia since 2018. Based in Brisbane, Ravind's extensive legal expertise extends across corporations law, immigration law, workplace relations, employment and safety, business and commercial law, and succession law. His practice also includes elder law, both commercial and residential property law, intellectual property, planning and environment law, and franchising law. Ravind's legal journey has been marked by a wealth of experience, beginning as a solicitor at U M Legal where he excelled in property and commercial law. His responsibilities included managing the sale and purchase of residential, investment, and commercial properties, as well as sale and purchase transactions involving businesses. Additionally, he provided legal services in employment law, immigration law, wills, trusts and estates, and family law, including separation and divorce matters. A career highlight includes serving as an in-house counsel for Michel's Patisserie with the Retail Food Group, where he supported business objectives through legal guidance. Previously, as Director of Ravitac Consulting Limited, Ravind provided consulting in employment law and environmental law, assisting with collective bargaining and the preparation of health, safety, quality, and environmental management policies. Ravind holds a Bachelor of Laws from Auckland University of Technology, complemented by a Graduate Certificate in Law and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Otago.
