Chelsea Schaefer is a founding Principal of Moin Morris Schaefer, bringing extensive expertise in Family, Children’s, and Criminal Law. She offers strategic advice and representation in areas such as parenting arrangements, property settlements, financial agreements, divorce, care and protection proceedings, and serious criminal cases. Known for her meticulous preparation, sound judgment, and strong advocacy skills, Chelsea is dedicated to delivering practical and cost-effective legal solutions. As an accredited Independent Children’s Lawyer, she is appointed by the Court to advocate for the best interests of children in complex and sensitive cases. Her role as an accredited mediator demonstrates her commitment to facilitating dispute resolution outside of court.
Chelsea frequently represents clients in the Local and District Courts, the Children’s Court, and the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia. Her legal career at Moin Morris Schaefer began as a Senior Associate before she became a Principal Solicitor. She also served as a Solicitor Director, contributing significantly to the firm's growth. Before joining Moin Morris Schaefer, Chelsea honed her skills at Legal Minds with a focus on Family Law and civil litigation. Her academic foundation was laid at the University of New England, where she earned a Bachelor of Laws.
