James Fisher is the Principal of Molonglo Legal, a firm he established in 2022 after amassing over 13 years of experience in private practice across Canberra, Sydney, and London. His background as both a solicitor and Chartered Accountant has equipped him with a broad technical foundation. James's expertise spans corporate and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, mediation and dispute resolution, international business structuring, tax litigation, and corporate tax compliance. He is dedicated to delivering commercial solutions to legal issues and actively seeks to understand the practical challenges faced by business owners through direct engagement. As the leader of Molonglo Legal, James is committed to fostering a workplace culture that integrates innovation and flexibility with a strong sense of professionalism and approachability. His leadership reflects a deep engagement with strategic thinking, a passion mirrored in his enjoyment of strategy games. James completed a Bachelor of Commerce/Laws at the ANU in 2008, before being admitted as a solicitor in the ACT (2010) and qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (2012). He was later admitted as a solicitor in England & Wales (2016) and received a Master of Laws from University of Sydney (2016).
