Tim Monaghan

Tim Monaghan began his legal career in 1989, focusing on criminal defence. Over the years, he has developed extensive experience within the Western Australian criminal justice system, representing a wide range of clients facing various criminal charges. Tim has appeared in the Magistrates Court, District Court, Supreme Court, and the High Court of Australia, handling matters across different levels of severity. He practices both as a barrister and solicitor, frequently appearing in court as defence counsel and collaborating with senior barristers when required. Tim is an active member of the Western Australian Criminal Law Association and has contributed to the profession by lecturing on trial advocacy for the WA Law Society.
