David Gonsalves

David Gonsalves serves as Special Counsel, bringing a wealth of expertise in Banking and Finance law, particularly in consumer credit, compliance, and securitisation matters. Operating from Queensland, he delivers national legal services with a strong focus on tailored client solutions. His strategic leadership in legal firm management is marked by successful accounting and information technology initiatives, resulting in the implementation of cost-effective, risk-managed systems. His contributions at Bowdens Lawyers include spearheading the Quality Assurance Program through to certification. Complementing his practice, David has shared his knowledge as a part-time lecturer at the Queensland University of Technology Law School. His current project includes drafting a manual on Risk Management of Consumer Transactions from a Legal and Financial Perspective.
