Earlier, as Managing Director at Australian Business Lawyers & Advisors in Queensland, he was instrumental in launching the firm and offering expert workplace and business legal advice. Heinz also imparted his knowledge as a Senior Adjunct Lecturer in Workplace Law at Griffith University, demonstrating his dedication to legal education.
