Sheriden Nelson

Sheriden Nelson is the Principal Solicitor at Nelson Lawyers, a dedicated local firm she founded to provide focused and compassionate guidance through complex legal matters, particularly during separation. With an understanding of the emotional and legal challenges families face, Sheriden leads her team with empathy and a commitment to ethical practice. Admitted as a solicitor of the New South Wales Supreme Court in February 2014 and later registered with the High Court of Australia, Sheriden has extensive courtroom experience in the Federal Circuit Court, Family Court, and Local Court. Her career began at Fielden and Associates, where she gained valuable experience, first as a Paralegal and later as a Solicitor. She then honed her skills as a Private Practice Solicitor for nearly four years before establishing Nelson Lawyers. Sheriden also shares her expertise as a part-time Legal Practitioner at the University of Newcastle. Her academic credentials include a Bachelor of Laws and a Diploma of Legal Practice, complemented by a Bachelor of Social Science, all from the University of Newcastle.
