Rob Brook

Rob Brook is an experienced lawyer practising in commercial, building and construction, property, will disputes, insolvency, bankruptcy, professional negligence, civil litigation and family law. He focuses on delivering practical, cost-effective legal solutions tailored to the needs of business clients and individuals. Rob is adept at negotiating settlements and resolving disputes efficiently, often avoiding lengthy litigation. Rob holds degrees in arts (politics) and law from Macquarie University and began his career in New York, where he worked for a major Wall Street law firm and was admitted to the New York bar in 1994. He further practised in Hong Kong, concentrating on public law litigation and other areas while completing a Master of Laws at the University of Hong Kong and gaining admission to the Hong Kong High Court in 1999. After a break pursuing farming and business interests, Rob returned to law in 2011 and was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales. Now principal director of Newcastle Legal, he collaborates with colleagues to provide clients with informed legal advice and strategic representation across a range of complex legal matters.
