Ted Vlahos

Ted Vlahos is the Head of Property and a co-founder of NDL, boasting nearly two decades of experience in property law. Renowned within the industry for his technical knowledge and strategic solutions, Ted advises individual, corporate, and institutional clients across a broad spectrum of property transactions and projects. His expertise includes property acquisitions and sales, handling complex negotiations involving residential, commercial, industrial, and rural sites, as well as property development, subdivisions, joint ventures, and high volume off-the-plan conveyancing. Ted also possesses a significant understanding of commercial law, offering advice on various business transactions. His proficiency extends to leasing—including retail, commercial, and industrial—leasing disputes, and property finance transactions, including construction finance. Ted is adept at advising on capital gains tax, GST, stamp duty, and land tax matters related to property holdings and transactions. He is also well-versed in owners corporation and construction matters. Ted's educational background includes a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from Monash University, complemented by a postgraduate diploma in Property (Agents’ Representative) from RMIT University. He is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria, the Property Council of Australia, and the Hellenic Australia Chamber of Commerce and Industry. His career includes notable tenures as a Partner at Nine Dots Legal since August 2020 and as an Equity Partner at Pointon Partners Lawyers for nearly 14 years.
