About Frank
Frank Knezovic is the Director at Nova Legal, which he co-founded in 2012, leading the Corporate & Commercial team. With a focus on corporate, commercial, and securities law, Frank provides expert advice on a spectrum of legal areas including IPOs, backdoor listings, secondary capital raisings, mergers and acquisitions, takeovers, and corporate reconstructions. His extensive experience also covers corporate compliance, shareholder meetings, directors’ duties, corporate governance, and general commercial matters. Before establishing Nova Legal, Frank enriched his corporate legal expertise at a boutique firm, where he served as a director for 18 months. His career began at a national law firm, strengthening his foundation in corporate law.
Recognised by Doyle's Guide in 2019 as a Recommended Corporate Lawyer in Western Australia, Frank’s areas of practice include capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and mining and resources. Beyond his role at Nova Legal, he has contributed as a Non-Executive Director for several companies, including DMC Mining Limited and Athena Resources Limited, and has held significant roles such as Non-Executive Chairman at Argosy Minerals Limited and Discovery Africa Limited. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Laws from Charles Darwin University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Murdoch University. Furthering his knowledge, he completed a Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance and Investment with FINSIA. Frank is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Association of Mining and Exploration Companies, underscoring his commitment to both legal excellence and industry engagement.
