Joanna Azzi

Joanna Azzi is a Special Counsel with extensive experience in family law, committed to assisting individuals through some of the most challenging periods in their lives. Since being admitted to practice in 2006, Joanna has developed a broad legal background, having worked in property law, debt recovery, commercial litigation, and family law across a number of Sydney legal firms. Currently practising exclusively in family law, Joanna applies her knowledge and empathy to build strong, trusting relationships with her clients. She is known for providing practical and considerate guidance, helping clients navigate difficult circumstances with both compassion and clarity. Joanna is admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia. She holds an Accredited Specialist status in Family Law, a recognition awarded by the Law Society of NSW to practitioners who demonstrate a high level of competence and experience in their area of practice. Joanna continues to engage in professional development to ensure her advice is current and effective. Balancing her professional responsibilities with her role as a devoted mother, Joanna brings dedication and enthusiasm to both aspects of her life. She holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Communications degree, complemented by a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law.
