Andrea Ranson serves as Special Counsel at Onyx, bringing a vibrant and dynamic professional background with diverse experience in law, business, and governance across Victoria, Queensland, and internationally. Her career includes leadership as the national manager of a company with both national and international interests, where she managed transport, logistics, and marketing. Andrea is currently an independent director of a Government Owned Corporation, a Commissioner, a QCAT mediator, and a corporate lawyer with over 25 years of experience. Andrea's clients benefit from her skill in crafting practical and efficient solutions to business challenges, drawing on her insights as a board director to provide informed governance advice. She advocates for meaningful organisational values, a thriving professional culture, and robust governance systems. As a dispute resolution expert, Andrea excels in helping clients avoid litigation, resolve disputes, and focus on their personal and business objectives. She emphasises the importance of having proper terms and conditions and documentation to mitigate risks.
