Steven Skala AO serves as a Partner at Partners Legal Solutions, leveraging his extensive background in law, business, finance, and the arts. Appointed as Chairman of the firm in February 2025, he brings a distinguished career to the table. Since 2017, he has also chaired the Clean Energy Finance Corporation, the Australian Government's substantial renewable energy and efficiency financier. Steven is notably the longest-serving member of the Foreign Investment Review Board within the Australian Treasury. His tenure at Deutsche Bank AG spanned over two decades, where he held roles as Vice Chairman Australia and Chairman of Investment Banking Coverage. In addition to his legal and financial expertise, Steven contributes significantly to the arts as Chairman of the Heide Museum of Modern Art and as a Member of the International Council of MoMA in New York City. His dedication to education and research is evidenced by his past leadership roles with organisations such as the Walter & Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research and the General Sir John Monash Foundation, where he remains an Honorary Life Governor. His governance experience extends to being Acting Chairman and Director of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, amongst other prominent positions.
