Paula Sutherland

Paula Sutherland is the Principal of her own practice in Hobart, bringing extensive experience in litigation since her admission to the Supreme Court of Tasmania and the High Court of Australia in 2004. She graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2003 with a combined degree in Commerce and Law, and completed the mandatory legal practice course before commencing her legal career. Paula initially gained broad litigation experience in general areas including commercial litigation, personal injury, and criminal defence during her first two years of practice. Over time, she focused her expertise on commercial litigation and dispute resolution—a complex field involving a variety of disputes between businesses and individuals.
