

Greg Bartlett serves as the Principal, leveraging over 40 years of experience as a patent attorney working with Australian SMEs. He leads our Adelaide office and plays a vital role in the firm's Pricing and International Relations Committees. With a comprehensive engineering background, Greg has contributed significantly to sectors including mining, mineral processing, general chemistry, and materials engineering. His exceptional academic prowess was recognised with the Institute Prize during his qualifying examinations. Greg's dedication to education extends to his 12-year tenure as an Examiner and his role as a Senior Fellow at Melbourne University's Law Faculty. Greg has an international footprint, frequently travelling for business throughout Asia. Beyond his engineering and legal expertise, he has a rich sporting history, having played professional basketball in the National Basketball League. His technical proficiency encompasses applied chemistry and materials science, mechanical engineering, as well as civil and industrial engineering. Throughout his illustrious career, Greg has held key positions, including a long-standing partnership at Phillips Ormonde Fitzpatrick and a vital role at Wray & Associates. Additionally, he served on the Professional Standards Board for Patent and Trade Marks Attorneys and as a Council Member for the Institute of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys of Australia. Greg's educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Chemical Engineering from Monash University and a Graduate Diploma in Science and Technology Commercialisation from the University of Adelaide. His early education was completed at Haileybury College.
