He adeptly provides strategic advisory services to financial institutions throughout the Pacific region. Damian's substantial track record includes advising prominent financial and international institutions like ANZ, Westpac, and Bred Banque, alongside renowned organisations such as MIGA and IFC. Formerly leading our London office, Damian developed a deep understanding of the complexities associated with financing transactions and investment challenges in the Pacific. His experience enables him to assist European and global clients keen on expanding in the Pacific markets. Damian's academic credentials are distinguished by a Master of Laws in International Law from the University of New South Wales, where he achieved Excellence. His research has focused on green finance and renewable energy structuring, and he was recognised on the Dean’s List for his exceptional work in World Trade Law. Beyond his professional role, Damian is committed to volunteering and has been involved with the Solomon Islands Public Solicitors Office. His dedication to upholding indigenous rights and addressing environmental issues exemplifies his broader commitment to impactful legal practice. His earlier experience spans various roles, including a finance manager position at JACK, where he honed his strategic financial skills.
