Peter Murphy

Peter Murphy is a Director at Prime Law Group and the principal of its Wollongong office. Since his admission as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, Peter has dedicated his career exclusively to Prime Lawyers, where he plays a key role in the firm’s management and client service. Peter’s practice encompasses a broad range of legal matters. He maintains an active case list involving estate litigation, frequently representing executors and beneficiaries in Supreme Court proceedings relating to contested wills. His expertise extends to complex commercial litigation, with experience managing cases in the Federal Court, Supreme Court, and Court of Appeal. Having practised across the greater Sydney region early in his career, Peter now operates primarily from Wollongong while continuing to serve a strong and loyal client base in the Sutherland Shire and the Illawarra. Peter holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Sydney and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.
