About Cassandra

Cassandra Pullos is the Managing Director of Pullos Lawyers, with a distinguished career in family law spanning over 40 years. Beginning her legal journey in Brisbane in 1985, Cassandra was guided by one of Queensland’s pioneering female lawyers, who instilled in her the importance of precision and a deep respect for the human element of legal practice. This mentorship laid the foundation for Cassandra's approach and later inspired the establishment of Pullos Lawyers in 2008. Though her early work was in commercial and construction litigation, Cassandra found her true calling in family law, recognising its profound impact on individuals' lives across various facets, including children, finances, and emotional well-being. Her role involves navigating the complexities of these interconnected legal areas, providing clarity and helping clients rebuild with confidence. A strong proponent of alternative dispute resolution, Cassandra is a trained mediator and arbitrator. She co-founded the Queensland Association of Collaborative Professionals and served as its inaugural President. Her commitment to collaborative practice also saw her become the Past President of the Australian Association of Collaborative Professionals. As one of Australia's first trained Parenting Coordinators, she is dedicated to reducing conflict and fostering healthy communication within families. Cassandra’s dedication to family law extends beyond her firm. She has shaped the future of the practice in Australia, reflected by her involvement in the International Association of Collaborative Practitioners Leadership Academy. Her philosophy is rooted in the belief that families deserve dignified, harm-minimising pathways that prioritise meaningful outcomes. A graduate of the Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Laws, Cassandra is also an Accredited Family Law Specialist and has been actively involved in the Gold Coast legal community. Beyond her legal expertise, she finds joy in cooking for friends and has a keen interest in beekeeping. Cassandra’s personal passions reflect her belief in balance and community, values that resonate in her professional life as she offers guidance and support to her clients through life's challenges.
