Michael Quinn

Michael Quinn is a seasoned Chartered Accountant and Lawyer with over 30 years of experience. As the Director and Co-Founder of The Quinn Group, Michael combines comprehensive expertise in accounting and law to deliver insightful advice on tax, business, and legal matters. Embarking on his career with Deloitte in 1978, Michael obtained his Commerce degree from the University of NSW in 1982, followed by qualification as a Chartered Accountant in 1984. His international exposure includes managing an audit team in London at Gane, Jackson & Walton Chartered Accountants. Returning to Australia, he co-founded Quinn Consultants in 1989 with his brother, focusing on tax and business advice. With his admission as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of NSW in 1995, he expanded his practice to form Quinn Lawyers, emphasising commercial and tax law. Michael holds multiple academic qualifications, including a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Technology Sydney, a Master of Applied Finance from FINSIA, and a Master of Business Administration from AIBA. His extensive memberships reflect his commitment to the profession, including his roles as a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and the Taxation Institute of Australia, among others. His multifaceted expertise enables him to guide clients through complex financial and legal landscapes, assisting them in gaining a competitive edge. With a client base ranging from small businesses to large enterprises, his advisory services extend both nationally and internationally.
