Ricky Raad

Ricky Raad is the Principal of R Legal, bringing a wealth of experience in commercial, industrial, and retail leasing, representing both landlords and tenants. His impressive expertise extends to contractual disputes, debt recovery, corporations law, construction disputes, and competition law. Ricky adopts a pragmatic and commercial approach, ensuring clients are fully aware of their legal rights and commercial options from the outset to the conclusion of each matter. With a focus on safeguarding his clients' business and financial interests, Ricky is passionate about assisting those who have been wronged. His practice is predominantly in New South Wales, and he has represented a diverse range of clients including ASX listed companies, government departments, national franchisors and franchisees, and family-owned businesses. Ricky has held the position of Principal Director at R Legal since March 2020. Prior to this, he was a Consulting Principal at Strategic Legal Solutions and an Advisory Board Member at Strategic Business Alliance Ltd. His earlier roles include Associate at HWL Ebsworth Lawyers and various positions at Coleman Greig Lawyers, where he also participated in a cadetship program. Ricky completed his Bachelor of Business & Commerce (Advanced Business Leadership) and Bachelor of Laws at Western Sydney University, where he was part of the Aspire Future Leaders Program.
