Arun Raniga

Arun Raniga is a solicitor who brings a comprehensive legal background to his practice. He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from Bond University in 1996 and was admitted as a solicitor in 1997, following the completion of a Diploma in Legal Practice at Queensland University of Technology. Arun began his legal career working at the Director of Public Prosecutions for around eight years, where he gained solid experience in criminal law before moving into private practice. In 2007, Arun established his own practice in Browns Plains, offering services across a broad range of areas. He has substantial experience in criminal law as well as family law, including matters such as divorce, complex financial disputes, parenting arrangements, de facto relationship issues, and the preparation of pre-nuptial and other financial agreements. Additionally, Arun handles cases involving wills and estates, conveyancing, business sales and purchases, and litigation. Arun’s legal expertise has been recognised on an international level, notably when he represented Dr Jayant Patel in his criminal proceedings, including appearances before the High Court of Australia. He is committed to understanding his clients’ needs and providing thorough support throughout their legal matters. Outside of his legal work, Arun enjoys playing golf and contributing to the community through charity efforts with Rotary. He has served as the president of the Rotary Club of Brisbane International.
