About Farris
Farris Faris holds a Bachelor of Laws from Murdoch University and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law. He has cultivated a diverse legal career that includes experience with the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva and roles as an International Human Rights Lawyer. Admitted as a lawyer of the Supreme Court of Western Australia, Farris is also a registered Migration Agent and is fluent in both Arabic and English. His practice encompasses civil, family, and criminal law matters, enriched by his extensive background in human rights. Farris has worked with the Claims Assistance Provider Service in Nauru, where he supported asylum seekers by facilitating access to legal advice. He assisted irregular maritime arrivals at a regional processing centre in preparing their refugee status claims and represented clients in hearings before both the tribunals and Supreme Court of Nauru. Known for his client-focused and compassionate approach, Farris ensures that every client receives personalised attention aimed at achieving the best possible outcome. His fluency in Arabic also enables effective communication with clients from diverse backgrounds, helping to bridge language and cultural divides.
