Liz Collins

Liz Collins was admitted to practice law in October 2013 and is currently a Partner at Rennick & Gaynor, where she leads the Wills & Estates team. She approaches each client’s circumstances with empathy and care, recognising that every estate planning matter is unique. Liz collaborates closely with clients to develop tailored estate plans, drawing on her experience in complex areas such as blended families, family trusts, superannuation, and private company structures to deliver comprehensive advice. In addition to estate planning, Liz represents executors in securing Probate and oversees the estate administration process to ensure that executors understand and fulfil their legal obligations. She also provides representation in estate disputes, acting for executors defending wills as well as for claimants seeking to challenge testamentary provisions. Her attentiveness and ability to listen closely to clients’ stories enable her to support them effectively through often difficult proceedings. Liz’s commitment to helping clients and her meticulous attention to detail have fostered long-standing relationships across multiple generations. She is dedicated to educating clients about the estate planning and administration process, finding satisfaction in the peace of mind that comes with organising their affairs. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws with Honours. Liz is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria.
