Julie Grant

Julie Grant is the Founder and Principal of Resolve Legal Solutions, a firm she established in 2023 to deliver accessible, in-house style legal advice across diverse industries. Julie began her career in corporate communications and government relations before transitioning into law after ten years in the mining and local government sectors. Her legal career commenced as in-house counsel at Raykon, a member-based workplace advisory and contracting group, where she offered guidance on workplace, industrial relations, and commercial issues. In 2013, Julie joined Capital Legal as a solicitor and director, where she developed a successful practice in workplace relations and commercial litigation. Her expertise spans several key areas within workplace law, including conducting independent workplace investigations, advising on organisational restructures, auditing legal compliance, managing enterprise bargaining, and drafting comprehensive employment documents. She offers day-to-day HR support and guidance on legislative changes affecting employers. Julie is also adept in commercial law, offering services that include reviewing contracts, providing strategic advice on business structuring, and advising boards on corporate governance. Her mediation services are integral to her practice, providing clients with cost-effective, confidential, and flexible dispute resolution. Accredited as a nationally recognised mediator by the Law Society of WA, Julie has acted in notable Federal Court cases, including Fair Work Ombudsman v Pocomwell Ltd and Fair Work Ombudsman v Quest South Perth Holdings Pty Ltd, addressing critical issues such as sham contracting.
