About Chris
Chris is the Partner in charge of the RMB Lawyers Personal Injury Compensation Department and has been with RMB Lawyers since 2000.
Since joining RMB Lawyers he has worked exclusively in the Personal Injury Compensation Law Team. Chris and his Team provide assistance to injured person in relation to all areas of Personal Injury Compensation Law.
Since 2008, Chris has been a New South Wales Law Society Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury Law and an Approved Legal Service Provider of the Independent Review Office (IRO).
Chris is currently listed in the industry leading "Doyle's Guide" as one of only 12 leading lawyers in NSW for work injury claims, and only one of 16 lawyers named as being recommended in public liability claims.
Chris’ areas of expertise include acting in motor vehicle accidents, work accident claims, medical negligence law, slip and fall claims, and asbestos related diseases.
Chris has an extensive practice acting for injured people and has appeared in the High Court of Australia, the NSW Court of Appeal, the Supreme Court of NSW, the NSW District Court and the Personal Injury Commission.
Chris routinely achieves outstanding results for his clients. He works closely with his clients with the aim of helping those who are vulnerable and aggrieved as a result of an accident or injury.
A Wollongong native, Chris's local roots are reflected in his comprehensive understanding of community needs. He excelled academically at Keira High School and leveraged his strong community ties and academic success to establish a distinguished legal career. Chris became a partner in 2005, demonstrating his commitment and leadership within the firm.
Chris’s personal life is deeply intertwined with the Wollongong community. His achievements in sports, including state representation in cricket and football, highlight his active involvement with local sports clubs. As a director of the Wollongong Wolves Football Club, Chris was instrumental in their 2018 bid for an A-League licence and their 2019 championship achievements. His dedication to both his professional and personal communities underscores his influence and leadership in the region.
