Mae Fan

Mae Fan, a Senior Associate at Rockdene, brings a wealth of experience from both public and private legal sectors. Admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW in 1997, Mae began her career in private practice before joining Legal Aid NSW, where she excelled as a family lawyer and frequently represented children in intricate cases. At Rockdene, Mae leads the Estate Planning practice, driven by her keen interest and extensive expertise in this area. Her proficiency encompasses obtaining Grants of Probate, drafting Wills, and establishing Power of Attorney and Enduring Guardianship arrangements. Mae is dedicated to delivering sound and practical legal advice, characterised by her diligence and compassion. She has adeptly guided numerous clients through various estate matters, including handling complex estates and trusts. Beyond her legal practice, Mae actively contributes to Family Advocacy NSW as a parent leader and speaker, promoting the rights and interests of individuals with developmental disabilities. Her personal life is enriched by raising four children and supporting her parents in their retirement. Mae's academic achievements include a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney, awarded in 1994.
