Rosetta Traficante

Rosetta Traficante is the Director and Principal of RT Legal Pty Ltd, a practice she established in 2014. With a legal career dating back to 2003, Rosetta previously practised as Rosetta Traficante Barrister and Solicitor from 2005 to 2010 and operated under the name RTLegal from 2010 to 2014. Rosetta holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws from La Trobe University. Before embarking on her legal career, she worked in the beauty industry as a hairdresser, bringing a diverse range of life experience to her practice. Her areas of work include family law, wills and probate, conveyancing, and assisting victims of crime. In family law, Rosetta is committed to helping clients navigate the complexities of separation and divorce with respect and care. Understanding that family breakdowns involve both legal and personal challenges, she often refers clients to appropriate professionals to support them throughout the process. Rosetta aims to secure just and equitable outcomes efficiently, with particular attention to ensuring that arrangements made for children prioritise their best interests. She encourages resolving disputes outside of court where possible, practising Collaborative Law and supporting clients in attending mediation, either independently or with legal representation. Her extensive court experience spans the Family Court, Federal Circuit Court, and Magistrates Court. Outside of her legal practice, Rosetta values her roles as a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, and enjoys shopping in her leisure time.
