Matthew Baxter serves as a Director and brings extensive experience to his legal practice. Originating from Ayr and having spent formative years in Bowen, Matt embarked on his legal career at our former Townsville Office in 2001 as a law clerk. He pursued his legal studies at James Cook University, earning his Bachelor of Laws in 2007, and was admitted as a solicitor the following year. In 2012, Matt, his wife, and their three daughters relocated to Ayr, where his leadership ascended as he became a director of the firm in 2013. Matt specialises in commercial and rural law, focusing on transactions and planning that are vital to the Burdekin community. His expertise extends to residential and commercial conveyancing, including commercial leasing. Additionally, Matt handles the intricacies of wills and estate administration, offering comprehensive legal support to his clients.
