Daniel Salim

Daniel Salim leads our team with over 15 years of experience in both front-end and back-end construction law. His career has been marked by involvement in cases that have played a pivotal role in shaping construction law in Australia, earning recognition and academic commentary as leading authorities in the field. Before founding Salim Rutherford Lawyers, Daniel was a senior associate at Norton Rose Fulbright (previously Deacons). There, he was actively engaged in a wide array of construction disputes, representing principals, contractors, consultants, and government authorities. This work involved litigation in the High Court of Australia, and the Supreme and District Courts of New South Wales and Victoria. Daniel's career has been characterised by building strong professional relationships and earning respect within the legal community.
