Peter Efklides

Peter is the Managing Director of Saxbys Lawyers, bringing extensive experience to a diverse range of legal areas. His expertise in property law includes managing substantial residential and commercial real estate transactions, commercial and retail leasing, and advising developers on multi-unit residential projects and subdivisions. He also addresses GST and stamp duty concerns. In the commercial sector, Peter is adept at negotiating and drafting complex agreements involving business sales, distribution, and trade mark licences, complemented by his advice on structuring, tax matters, and competition and consumer law. Additionally, Peter's practice encompasses insolvency and Corporations Act matters, and he is experienced in litigation, representing insured parties and working with insurers on professional indemnity and public liability cases. He provides comprehensive services in preparing Wills and Testamentary Trusts and offers insights into administering deceased estates. His litigation skills extend to large family law disputes involving complex business arrangements. Peter holds a Bachelor of Economics with an Accounting major and a Bachelor of Laws from Monash University, and was admitted to practise in Victoria in 1985.
