Danie Mounas

Danie Mounas is a dedicated Senior Solicitor with extensive experience in wills, estates, estate planning, and related disputes. Since her admission to practise in 2018, Danie has honed her expertise in handling complex estate administration matters and family provision claims. Her approach is centred on compassion and a strong commitment to her clients, ensuring that she provides both clarity and reassurance throughout the often stressful legal processes of future planning and post-death administration. Danie is adept at assisting clients in the preparation of wills and powers of attorney, guiding them with practical advice and peace of mind in emotionally charged situations. Danie's legal career began at Barwon Community Legal Service as a Law Graduate, followed by a role as a Legal Assistant at Stary Norton Halphen. Her journey continued as a Solicitor at McIntyre & Statton, where she spent three years developing her skills before moving to Cornish Lawyers. In May 2025, she took on her current role as a Senior Solicitor at Scott Legal, bringing her breadth of experience to the firm. Danie's educational foundation was laid at Deakin University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws with a focus on Criminology, followed by Practical Legal Training at the Leo Cussen Institute.
