With a focus on commercial litigation, trade practices, corporations, and property law, Stephen combines a comprehensive understanding of the law with a dedication to achieving efficient, cost-effective results for his clients. His legal journey is enriched by a Bachelor of Arts from Hamilton College and an impressive academic record at the University of Sydney, where he earned both his Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours and a Master of Laws. Further honing his expertise, Stephen completed a Master of Laws in Commercial Litigation at the College of Law. Stephen’s diverse experience includes serving as a research assistant to Justice Einstein at the Supreme Court of New South Wales, practising as a solicitor with a leading national firm, and holding partner positions at Garland Hawthorn Brahe and Horton Rhodes Lawyers. At sdw legal, Stephen applied his wealth of experience to guide clients through complex commercial matters with strategic insight. Currently, Stephen is General Counsel at Perpetual Corporate Trust, where he previously served as a Senior Manager and Senior Legal Counsel. His role involves navigating intricate legal challenges while providing pragmatic advice that aligns with commercial objectives.
