Shelley Answerth

Shelley Answerth is the Principal Solicitor at Shelley Law, where she is dedicated to guiding injured individuals through the challenging landscape of compensation claims. Her approach prioritises providing thorough and personalised advice, aiming to resolve claims promptly and with empathy. Before establishing her own firm, Shelley amassed extensive experience at several renowned law practices. From 2024, she has led Shelley Law, having previously honed her expertise as a Senior Associate at Slater and Gordon Lawyers and Kemp Law. Her legal journey began with roles such as Associate at Moray & Agnew, where she gained invaluable insights into the profession, and as a Liability Claims Consultant at Gallagher Bassett, enhancing her understanding of the claims process. At Shine Lawyers, she served as Senior Solicitor, with earlier positions as a lawyer at both Moray & Agnew and Gadens. Her foundational experience includes managing claims and serving as an in-house lawyer at WorkCover Queensland. Outside of her professional pursuits, Shelley enjoys an active lifestyle, indulging in running, beach outings, and family travels, alongside community involvement and pro bono work.
