Joan Calvillo

Joan joined SKC Lawyers in 2021, initially working with the firm before her admission as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland later that year. Her commitment to the legal profession is driven by a genuine passion for assisting clients, and she is dedicated to honing her skills to provide clear and effective legal advice. Joan approaches each matter with meticulous attention to detail and compassion, ensuring her clients receive personalised care throughout the process. She has a keen interest in Family Law and Estate Planning, areas where she applies both her legal knowledge and empathetic approach to support clients through often sensitive circumstances. Joan holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) with Distinction from the Queensland University of Technology, completed in 2021. She further enhanced her qualifications by completing a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice in January 2022, also at Queensland University of Technology. Joan is an active member of the Queensland Law Society.
