Catherine Tsai serves as the Managing Legal Counsel, providing strategic legal and commercial advice to businesses across diverse industries. With over two decades of experience spanning government departments and commercial enterprises, Catherine excels in navigating complex legal landscapes, offering insights that align with broader business strategies. Her adeptness in managing risks and adding value is well-regarded among her clients, who benefit from her ability to identify and mitigate legal and contractual risks. Before her tenure at Source, Catherine was a corporate counsel at WaterNSW, where she played a pivotal role in leading significant water infrastructure projects. Her career includes diverse roles at respected firms including Norman Disney Young, Woolworths, Rail Corporation, and Clayton Utz. Catherine's expertise covers a broad spectrum of commercial law, focusing on advising on complex projects, risk assessment, preparation and negotiation of contracts, and training businesses on relevant legal issues. She holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts with a focus on Psychology and Education, underscoring her well-rounded professional foundation. Outside of her legal practice, Catherine is committed to community service, volunteering with St Johns Ambulance Service and local animal rescue facilities.
