Courtney Salter

Courtney Salter is a dedicated family lawyer at South East Lawyers, bringing a focused and insightful approach to each matter she handles. With her practice concentrated exclusively on family law, Courtney guides clients through complex issues such as property settlements, parenting arrangements, child support concerns, and intervention order proceedings with clarity and care. Courtney's interest in law was sparked during her initial studies in Criminal Justice Administration at RMIT University. She then pursued a Bachelor of Laws at Monash University, followed by a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law. Admitted to practice in 2009, she quickly identified family law as the area where she wished to build her career. Her approach is centred on minimising both the emotional strain and financial impact that separation and family disputes can impose. Courtney encourages clients to reach prompt and amicable resolutions, enabling them to move forward positively. When court proceedings become necessary, she represents her clients with a pragmatic and focused manner, drawing on substantial experience in the Family Court. Courtney is a proactive member of the Law Institute of Victoria and the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia.
