Joanne Steer, the founder, holds degrees in Arts and Law with First Class Honours from the University of Western Australia, is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and has been admitted to practice in the Supreme Courts of Western Australia and New South Wales, as well as the High Court of Australia. With a background that includes roles as Special Counsel at DLA Piper in Perth and experience with Allens Linklaters and Allion Partners, Jo brings a wealth of legal expertise to the firm. Sovica Legal also acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live, learn, and work, recognising the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation.
