Aaron Dower

Aaron is the Principal of Spains Solicitors and brings approximately 24 years' experience as a commercial solicitor across corporate, property, and private client work. Aaron graduated from Griffith University, Brisbane with degrees in Law and Commerce (2001), then completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice at Bond University on scholarship. Aaron was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia in 2002, and as a Solicitor and Barrister of the High Court of New Zealand in 2004. His current practicing certificate authorises him to take instructions in both New South Wales and Queensland. After roles at leading corporate and commercial firms in Auckland and the Gold Coast, Aaron has practised independently since 2011 and acquired Spains Solicitors in 2019. His practice spans commercial and residential property (acquisition, sale, lease), finance, business sale and purchase, corporate and commercial work, wills and trusts, estates administration, family provision claims, and matrimonial property division. Outside the office, Aaron is an accomplished ultra trail runner and running coach and maintains an active lifestyle balancing family and competitive endurance pursuits.
