Katrina Peters, Director and Principal Lawyer at Statewide Family Law, is dedicated to guiding clients through some of the most challenging times in their lives. With over 25 years in the legal field, beginning as a paralegal and law clerk and advancing to a solicitor, Katrina has honed her ability to connect with clients and deliver optimal outcomes. Her practice is rooted in empathy and understanding, ensuring she meets her clients’ needs effectively and provides genuine peace of mind. Katrina joined Statewide Family Law in October 2017, bringing a wealth of experience from her tenure at various law firms in the Mackay region. Her deep connection with the community enhances her ability to advocate for her clients. Katrina's academic accomplishments include a Bachelor of Laws from Central Queensland University and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Queensland University of Technology, complemented by a Certificate III Diploma in Applied Science. Balancing the completion of her law degree while managing work and family remains one of her proudest achievements. Family is paramount to Katrina, and she cherishes time with her husband and daughter. This commitment to family fuels her passion for preserving what her clients hold dear.
