Emma Swords

Emma holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Macquarie University, and was admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in October 2016. She joined STL in August 2020, bringing over 8 years of experience in litigation and dispute resolution from her time with two prominent commercial litigation firms in Sydney. Emma focuses on handling contentious matters for Owners Corporation clients in Sydney and Melbourne. She manages proceedings in the NCAT, VCAT, and Supreme Court, particularly in areas such as commercial claims for contract breaches, dissolution of building management and service agreements, common property repair claims, enforcement of by-law claims, and applications for the compulsory appointment of managers. Emma's expertise ensures clients receive effective legal solutions tailored to their unique circumstances.
