James Ryan

James Ryan, the Principal Solicitor, brings a unique blend of experience from his background in local government, environmental conservation, and community advocacy. Having served as a councillor for Cessnock Council for 12 years, James is deeply committed to local representation and planning law. His extensive involvement in community campaigns has honed his understanding of the challenges communities face in securing fair outcomes from local councils and governments. Admitted to the NSW Supreme Court as a solicitor in 2012, James has since dedicated his practice to assisting clients with matters in the Land and Environment Court, as well as in the Supreme and Federal Courts.
