Sahar Derakhshan is a dedicated Partner at Stynes Bastian Lawyers, a firm she co-founded. Admitted as an Australian Lawyer in 2015, Sahar holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from Monash University. Her legal practice primarily focuses on Commercial Litigation, with a strong emphasis on Debt Recovery and Post Judgment Enforcement. In addition, she adeptly handles matters in Estate Law, including complex Estate Disputes, Property Law, and Superannuation Law, specifically Distribution Disputes.
Sahar boasts extensive courtroom experience and frequently appears in the Supreme, Federal, and Magistrates’ Courts, as well as the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal. Her strategic approach and keen legal acumen are instrumental in achieving efficient, cost-effective outcomes for her clients.
Her professional journey includes significant tenures at well-regarded law firms, where she advanced from a Solicitor position to Senior Associate at DSA Law. Sahar’s earlier roles include practising as a solicitor at Hudson Lawyers and Mendelsons Lawyers and gaining insight into the legal workflow as a Finance Assistant at Native Title Services Victoria.
