Heather Williams

Heather Williams, the Director and Principal Solicitor at Sunstone Legal, has established a distinctive legal practice since her admission as a lawyer in Western Australia in 2008. Her approach emphasises flexibility and individuality, allowing her team to choose their work conditions, fostering a progressive environment. This innovative ethos led Heather to found Sunstone Legal in 2022, a firm celebrated for its excellence in wills, estates, employment law, and commercial legal services. Her leadership has been recognised through numerous accolades, including recent mentions in Doyle's Guide as a recommended firm and practitioner in Wills, Estates, and Succession Planning. Heather's experience is comprehensive, having previously served as a Senior Associate at Cullen Macleod, where she honed her expertise in dispute resolution, litigation, and various facets of commercial law. Her legal journey began at the WA Industrial Relations Commission and extended through several key roles in other law firms across Perth. Complementing her practice, Heather has shared her insights as an Associate Lecturer at Curtin University and as an Adjunct Lecturer at the College of Law Australia, contributing to the education of future legal professionals while actively engaging in pro bono work to support community access to justice.
