Hon David Lloyd brings an extensive and distinguished legal career to our practice as a Consultant. Retired as a Judge, and formerly holding the position of King's Counsel, his Honour has considerable experience in mediation and continues to serve as the chair of various significant councils. With a noteworthy tenure as a Judge of the Land and Environment Court of NSW and an Acting Judge of the Supreme Court of NSW, David Lloyd has significantly contributed to judicial education and development. His roles with the National Judicial College of Australia and the Judicial Commission of NSW highlight his commitment to the judicial community. Following his judicial retirement, he was appointed a Visiting Fellow at ANU College of Law and a Judicial Associate of the National Judicial College of Australia. His recognition as a QC in NSW in 1991, and later in ACT, VIC, and QLD in 1992, underscores his legal proficiency and reputation. Currently, David Lloyd chairs local government independent planning assessment panels and serves as an Adjunct Professor at Western Sydney University, continuing to influence the field of law with his extensive expertise and leadership.
