Sean Hayes

Sean Hayes serves as the Director of Tax Lawyers, where he leverages over a decade of experience in tax law, commercial law, superannuation, and trusts. Since 2014, Sean has been at the helm of the firm in Perth, Western Australia, where his leadership and legal acumen have been instrumental in delivering effective legal solutions. Previously, Sean held the position of Company Secretary and Legal Counsel with Bugardi, where he contributed to the firm's legal strategies and internal governance from October 2023 to July 2025. His role as a Special Legal Advisor to the President and the ABG Government of the Autonomous Region of Bougainville in Papua New Guinea further attests to his capability in advising on complex legal issues, which he deftly managed for nine months in 2019. Before joining Tax Lawyers, Sean was a Director and lawyer at various law firms in Perth, where he honed his expertise over eight years.
