Julia Lloyd

Julia Lloyd graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Arts (Jurisprudence) in 1992 and achieved First Class Honours in Law in 1994. She was admitted to legal practice in 1994. Following graduation, Julia served as the Associate to the Honourable Justice Perry in the Supreme Court of South Australia. She then gained experience at the Legal Services Commission, focusing on criminal defence and youth legal matters. Subsequently, Julia joined the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, where she worked as both a solicitor and prosecutor, managing numerous serious criminal trials. Since 2000, Julia has practised in the Barossa Valley, initially with Heuzenroeders before joining Teusner & Co in 2005. She became a partner at Teusner & Co on 1 July 2014. Julia’s practice encompasses a broad range of legal areas, including criminal law, family and de facto relationships, commercial leasing and transactions such as the sale and purchase of businesses, family farm and business succession planning, liquor licensing, general litigation, probate and estates administration, as well as wills, advance directives and estate planning. Her diverse experience enables her to provide clear, practical advice tailored to clients’ individual circumstances.
