Elijah Li

Elijah Li is a solicitor admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of South Australia and the High Court of Australia. Fluent in Mandarin, Elijah brings a wealth of experience in Family Law to his role at Shorter Legal in Gawler. His journey in the legal field began with a focus on Family Law, Children's Law, and Wills and Estates at a respected law firm in Wollongong, NSW. Here, he gained valuable insights working alongside the firm's directors. His tenure at the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia as a Legal Case Manager and later as a Judge's Associate enriched his understanding of Family Law litigation and the Australian Family Court system. Outside his legal practice, Elijah is actively engaged in his local community. With nearly ten years in Youth and Children's Ministry, he excels in mentoring and relationship-building while offering significant insights into child development and mental health needs. Elijah holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts (Philosophy) with Distinction from the University of Wollongong, alongside a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law. He is also accredited in Youth Mental Health First Aid by Mental Health First Aid Australia.
