Svetlana Thorpe is the principal and licensee in charge at Thorpe Conveyancing, where she brings nearly two decades of invaluable experience in the legal industry. As a qualified and licensed conveyancer, Svetlana has developed a profound expertise in property transfers, striving to exceed her clients' expectations while fulfilling their dreams. She understands the significant life decisions involved in buying and selling properties and is committed to making these processes as smooth as possible. Svetlana's friendly approach, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to communicate in simple terms ensure successful conveyancing transactions. Her firm, Thorpe Conveyancing, offers an extensive network of property professionals, connecting clients with experts for purchase, sale, maintenance, or finance matters.
Since May 2015, Svetlana has been leading Thorpe Conveyancing with a focus on residential purchases and sales, including the complexities of off-the-plan transactions and investment acquisitions. Her previous experience as a licensed conveyancer with Sydney Property Conveyancing and Paul Denny Conveyancing involved comprehensive responsibilities, such as contract reviews, liaising with banks, and organising settlements. Her career began as a Senior Legal Secretary at Campbells, Attorneys-at-Law in the Cayman Islands.
Svetlana holds an Advanced Diploma in Conveyancing from TAFE NSW, graduated with distinction, and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Economics in Bratislava, where she was involved with AIESEC. Her contributions to the industry also include providing briefings on current conveyancing topics like electronic processes and legislative developments.
