Troy Peisley

Troy Peisley is a distinguished lawyer and chartered accountant, specialising in dispute resolution. With a career spanning several decades, he has held roles as a forensic accountant, mediator, expert determiner, and arbitrator. Troy commenced his journey as an accountant in 1988, transitioning to law in 1996 with a focus on commercial litigation. By 2000, he embraced forensic accounting, further honing his skills in dispute resolution as a mediator from 2001, an expert determiner from 2004, and as an arbitrator since 2009. His extensive education includes a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology, Sydney, a Diploma of Law from the NSW Barrister and Solicitors Admission Board, and a Master of Laws from the University of NSW. He has further specialised with a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, Chartered Accounting, and a Graduate Certificate in Forensic Studies from Monash University. Troy is a solicitor and barrister admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW and holds an accreditation in commercial litigation from the Law Society of NSW. As a Fellow Chartered Accountant, he is actively involved in the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and serves as a nationally accredited mediator. He participates on professional panels including the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration and the LEADR Association of Dispute Resolvers. His expertise is sought by a wide array of organisations ranging from the Law Society of NSW, Macquarie Bank, and Ernst & Young to IBM and the Australian Federal Police, providing insight and resolution in complex cases. Troy also dedicates his time as an honorary solicitor for RSL Life Care, Narrabeen, supporting them pro bono since 2002.
